Indeed. But Aside from practicing on a 3-month+ old Sisi build that doesn't incorporate latest skills, this is where you get flight/fitting time.

And since Caldari is SOOOOO gimped atm (esp. as it relates to solo combat and short-range combat) Gal is the obvious choice.

Possible that my kit wasn't what you would call optimal - but for whom? I've seen A LOT of non-standard fittings recently that have been highly effective - but ofc you're one of the Armchair quarterbacks who love to pick apart threads.

Oh WAIT! I know, I should have fit ECM/NOS - and a *different* kind of drone - what I didn't tell you was that I started off pounding him with 5x Ogres, which also did f***-all for damage. This was easily a 3+ minute fight, and I recalled those and issues the sentries, which were more effective.

So spare me your rhetoric, you're not the only person who knows how to play this game.

I fail to see how 2x injectors and rails is a bad choice - it gives me the range I desired and to counteract (specifically) a ECM/NOS/Drone attack, and without using ECM myself (e.g. I am not looking for an EW war where we all go home to refit), what was required was +++cap, tank, and considerable damage repairer.

Ofc it didn;t help that there was a BS spawn on the gate that targeted me and not the Recon. The pilot actually kept chatting me up in local asking for the KM (NPC actually got it).

The illustration / scenario is secondary.

The point is simple:

Curse - not in line with it's peers, incredibly overpowered. Aska Falcpon pilot what his chances of popping a BS are? Zilch.

In a 1:1 fight between a BS and a Force Recon, I would think the BS comes out on top or is forced to disengage - NOT OMGWTFPWN.

Rails - SUCK, plain and simple. No way getting around that. GIMPED 4TL. *FIX THIS NOW*

and the biggest point of all, which everyone seems to have missed.......
